Thanks in advance for the favourites, and the watch.
Apologies if you get the same sort of message from me twice... It's just a copy and paste job, and I don't always pay attention to the names.
I received my very first camera as a Christmas present when I was 5 years old. Back then I had no technique for my photos what so ever. I still have the camera lying around somewhere. It was a novelty design made especially for kids that had a tiger and bird on the front. This served me well for many years.
4 years later, i received a digital camera for Christmas. it was a Concord Eye-Q duo 2000, which was good for it's time. It was a cheap brand as cameras were still quite expensive back then.
This camera served me well for another 4 years, before I bought myself a more standard compact camera. It was a Cannon Powershot. I was able to increase my skill a lot with this camera, and come to grips with manual controls, although I mostly use presets and automatic. I don't like messing around with the controls and missing the subject of my photo.
It served me until late 2010-early 2011 when the zoom/focus mechanisms died. It wouldn't even turn on..... being quite poor at the time, I had to wait a while before buying another camera. I spent the time using my phone camera, which was pretty good, but not great. My current camera is a Sony Cybershot HX-9V, and even though I've only had it for a couple of months, I already have plans of upping it to a DSLR, as my skill has grown quite a bit since buying it.
I mostly take shots of the sky, and the view from my house, as let's face it. by the evidence in my gallery, they are EPIC! Please feel free to leave constructive criticism and any form of feedback on my photos to help me improve.
Thanks
